First supplement to Lipenius's monumental Bibliotheca realis iuridica, the standard finding-tool for jurisprudence throughout the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, first issued in 1679 and subsequently enlarged by Struve and Jenichen (Leipzig, 1757). Schott's Supplementa brings the bibliography up to date with legal literature published in the intervening decades, arranged, like the parent work, under alphabetical subject headings for ease of reference by practising jurists. An essential working companion to Lipenius for any library of early modern legal bibliography.
